Ian Gibb, British Empire Medal

Paths Group members and friends were delighted to be with our Secretary, Ian Gibb, at Bowhill House this Monday when he received the British Empire Medal awarded in the New Years Honours.

The Award was presented by His Grace, Richard, Duke of Buccleuch in his role as Lord Lieutenant: Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale, supported by Cadet Sergeant Flynn Hay of 8 Platoon, Galashiels and Anne Hogarth, previously our local Deputy Lord Lieutenant.

Stunning location, warm and informal welcome, brilliant weather, great company and a ceremony that was perfect.
