Remember Storm Arwen?

The enormous tree that fell on Leader Water Path between the community woodland and boatpool?

You either had to mountain climb up the banking and round the root or (if agile) climb over the trunk.

Its finally gone!

A seriously big thank you to Christopher Kennedy and his friend who, after a chance conversation with Ian, took the opportunity to remove it and clear the path.

A tricky job involving cutting the tree into sections and using a hand winch to pull the stump and root ball back into the hole.

Well beyond the skill level of the Gruesome Twosome, even if they were decades younger......... But don't tell them that......
