THE ADVENTURE CONTINUES

Follow the next steps in the story on Facebook with all the pictures and have a read.

Our thanks once again go to:

Landowners the Peto family for their support and permission

Historic Environment Scotland who granted our application for the site without any restrictions

Project funding by Scottish Borders Council and Tweed Forum for Fallago Environment Fund

Input to the interpretation panel from Dr John Reid of The Trimontium Trust & Museum and Derek Robeson at Tweed Forum

Peter Blood at Osprey for the design and construction of another information panel for us

Ruaraig and Iomhar at Beltane Studios in Peebles for turning an idea and a wee Blue Peter model into the final seat

GB Garden Landscaping with Graeme and Kieron for all the physical stuff of lifting, shifting and fixing the two "small" lightweight items everywhere, importantly and finally onto the Black Hill itself

Last but not very much not least all the members and supporters of Earlston Paths Group, everyone who has been involved and so many in our community who already love what we've created and their permanent home on the hill.

Two things to do before it is ALL put to bed:

Direction disc to be fitted by Beltane Studios

Trig point freshened a with a new coat of white paint, thanks to agreement to our request from by Ordnance Survey
