Winter Work - again!

Time once again to put away the grass cutting and strimming equipment, moving onto winter care and maintenance. Leader Water and Diamond Jubilee have had their autumn tidy up. Speedy's Wood is next week, weather permitting.

Ian has cleared leaves and dug the recent ditches along Mill Meadow to try and keep water from the path, destroying the surface.

Yesterday saw Ian and Tom finish the job, helped by the flask of coffee and Saturday cream buns. A hard shift and long afternoon's work. The trick later was to not fall asleep in front of the TV and cosy fire.....
